I am a student of movement. As a cyclist, runner, swimmer, dancer and explorer of nature, I have always been on the move. My journey into natural health and healing began at a young age when I began practicing yoga as a way to balance the high energy of competitive sports. As a yoga teacher I enjoyed seeing how movement can help heal but began to wonder about other ways to deepen my healing practices. I discovered the potent energy of massage through many inspiring practitioners. I approach massage therapy with the holistic eye of a yogi and practical mindset of an athlete and therapeutic exercise specialist.
Since earning my Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2009, I have worked closely with Physical Therapists and Chiropractors to expand my understanding of body mechanics and how to safely move through injury in the body. I am also a certified Yoga and Thai Massage Therapist and teach Anatomy and Physiology to yogis in training.
